The American Legion Post 2 conducts the annual Pearl Harbor Remembrance Day Ceremony each December 7th, beginning at 12:45pm.
This event is held in the rotunda at the Tennessee State Veterans cemetery located at 5901 Lyons View Pike in Knoxville, and begins with a moment of silence held at 12:55 (7:55am Hawaii time). In 2024 the Guest Speaker was Major General (R) Jack D’Araujo
